I was delighted to resume life-drawing this week after an absence of well over a month while I’ve been doing quite a bit of travelling and being generally elsewhere. In keeping with the often comically non-sequential nature of this blog however, the images below are not the latest drawings but instead are from the last couple of sessions I attended (back in July) before my hedonistic hiatus.
The models, reading from top to bottom, were Elena and Michaela, both new to me. I swear Brighton must have more life-models than the rest of the country combined. And the Daily Mail hates us. What a great town.
I agree. But who gives a shit what the Daily Mail thinks? I’m doing my out-of-Blighty but myself at the moment and after several years of life drawing drought I seem to have hit a mother lode first try tomorrow. I will, of course, post the results. Our Man in The Med

I’m genuinely intrigued. Is this a class you were unaware of or have you started your own?
