Downhill, but in a good way.

Just returned from the annual boys’ ski trip to La Clusaz which is always one of the highlights of the year. The conditions were superb for the whole of the six days we were away, the pistes relatively unencumbered by other skiers and the company as reliably agreeable as ever.

I was intending to do an iPad portrait of all four of my fellow chalet-mates while we were away but there’s never quite as much free time on these trips as I still persist in believing there is. I did sort of manage three of them, although Justin was drawn pretty crudely by finger on the iPhone during a quick coffee stop. I also made the now-traditional cartoon entry in the chalet guestbook (click skiing tag in the tag-cloud for some previous examples), full of in-jokes and wild exaggerations, the origins of which we’ll have completely forgotten by next year.
