Dropping in on Wonderland

My late-summer existence continues to dominated by work but I managed to tunnel out last night to spend a couple of hours at The Old Market for Draw‘s latest themed drawing session. The Lewis Carroll outfits and props were once again out of the dressing-up box and a full-house (including turbo-pencil himself, Paul Cemmick) had turned up to draw Alice, the Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts as the author almost certainly never imagined them.

The sight lines were far from unobstructed but I managed to get a few quick sketches down in the short time I was there, including a few on the iPad, which needed a bit of tidying up later as they were executed in such a hurry.

Created on the iPad with Adobe Ideas.

Right, back to the drawing board…
