Pirated Material

This is a sort of addendum to my previous post, really. There was an excellent 10-minute reclining pose during last Tuesday’s drawing class that I really didn’t have time to do justice to. This is a common enough frustration in the life studio, experienced by everyone from time to time. However, the sketch contained just about enough information to be worked up into something more finished-looking back at my studio, including the vaguely piratical and entirely imaginary accessories and props.

    1. Thanks for the kind comment, Aaron. You occasionally get these fabulous, quick poses in life-drawing sessions that are crying out for a longer, more considered drawing. This was definitely one of them!

  1. Excellent! You really let your imagination run with that one. Whole new vistas of work avoidance open up! If only we had a rich patron. Dream on, Cemmo, dream on!
