But she looks nothing like that.

Here are a couple more examples of recent life-drawings that I’ve re-worked back in the studio. They’re a great vehicle for quickly trying out different techniques, taking liberties with anatomy and general illustrative experimentation. I’ve included copies of the original drawings for comparison.

Also, here’s a selection of drawings from Bill’s Tuesday-evening class at the Arts Club, with Charlotte modelling. This is rapidly becoming a cherished weekly fixture; two hours of pretty intense life-drawing accompanied by a killer soundtrack, then adjourn to the pub round the corner to talk art, life and miscellaneous nonsense with a like-minded splinter group of fellow aesthetes. I recommend it highly.
